Press Release | September 2, 2025

Santa Barbara, Calif. – 2025 July 8 – Michael Flowers, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, and pharmaceutical executive with Celltrion USA, has joined the Board of Directors of Dream Foundation, the only national dream-granting organization for terminally-ill adults.

Flowers joined the Foundation’s Dreams for Veterans Advisory Council in January and will continue to work closely with the organization’s Dreams for Veterans program, raising awareness about veterans’ needs, concerns, and Dreams as they face the end of life.

Flowers served in the United States Marine Corps for 24 years before retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He has since held various leadership and management positions within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, drawing on his extensive experience and impressive expertise from his years of service.

“My short time working with the Dreams for Veterans Advisory Council has been very rewarding, and I am deeply honored and humbled to join the Board of Directors of Dream Foundation,” says Flowers.

In addition to his commitment to Dreams for Veterans, Flowers has served on numerous boards, including the USAA Insurance and Financial Services Advisory Panel, the Department of Veterans Affairs Epilepsy Centers of Excellence National Advisory Board, and the American Lung Association of the Southeast.

“Michael’s dedication to the Dreams for Veterans program and the veterans we serve has been nothing short of amazing,” says Dream Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Kisa Heyer. “Within a matter of months, he has opened doors and opportunities that would otherwise not have been available. I am confident that his commitment and passion will extend beyond the program to benefit and support all those we serve.”
