On May 23rd, Dreaming A Difference, a benefit showcase for Dream Foundation will be held at the Marjorie Luke Theater in downtown Santa Barbara. This showcase, produced by the students of Dream Team Council, will feature rising singer-songwriter Cody Lovaas, who has toured and opened for Jason Mraz, as well as the talents of local high school students, including Erik & Madeleine, Gabe Reali and Luana Psaros. All proceeds from this event will benefit Dream Foundation.
This amazing showcase will raise awareness for the great work of Dream Team Council (DTC), a youth leadership group comprised of the dedicated students who oversee high school Dream Team clubs at Bishop Diego High School, Dos Pueblos High School, Laguna Blanca, San Marcos High School and Santa Barbara High School. DTC provides opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in non-profit management and program support, earn community service hours and learn skills that apply to their areas of study—all while building their résumés and, most importantly, helping others. This benefit showcase empowers the talented and dedicated youth of Santa Barbara to give back to those in need.

The 5th Annual Flower Empower Luncheon will be held Wednesday, May 13th at an exclusive, oceanfront meadow in Summerland, CA, where approximately 225 local supporters will attend.
This farm-to-table luncheon raises funding for Flower Empower, a volunteer-driven program unique to Santa Barbara that delivers locally grown flowers, fresh-baked cookies, gourmet chocolates and cards handmade by young volunteers to anyone from Goleta to Ventura in need of cheer. Volunteers make deliveries to hospitals, hospices, cancer centers and personal residences to help ensure that those facing illness, recovery or loss know that they are not alone and that their community cares.
The event, which will be filled with great food, wonderful surprises and exciting auction items, will also honor the dedicated donors, volunteers and community growers that make the program possible. Flower Empower does not receive federal or state funding and, therefore, relies solely on the generosity of its supporters.
Tickets for the event are sold out. If you are interested in being place on our wait list or purchasing raffle tickets, please contact email@example.com. You can also make a donation online.
