Summer Dream: A Swimwear Runway Show



Looking for a fresh way to spend your Thursday evening? Jumpstart your weekend by joining us on Thursday, June 4th, for a glamorous fashion show and cocktail party taking place at Aperture Collective and Cabana Home in the Funk Zone in downtown Santa Barbara!

Dream Foundation is partnering up with local swimwear designer Danielle Rocha of Rocha Swim to host an event that celebrates summer and brings together the next wave of philanthropists to learn about Dream Foundation’s mission to grant the final dreams of individuals facing terminal illness. One hundred percent of the proceeds of this event will benefit Dream Foundation.

Danielle Rocha, 21, creates cutting-edge swimsuit designs inspired by Brazilian cuts. This event will feature a runway show with additional designs from CA Makes, 399 Jewelry, Make Smith, Lisa Sands Design and Chapala and Parker.

There will be live performances by Danny Winter and DJ Idex, food provided by the mobile Carl’s Jr.® Star Diner, wine and beer! Be sure not to miss out!

This will be a great hub for young professionals and budding entrepreneurs to get together, have a good time and discover the rewards of charity and the values of giving back.

Tickets are a tax deductible donation of $75.

Raffle tickets are also available for purchase at $10 each or 6 for $50. Raffle prizes include:

  • Beauty Basket with organic skin care products, brow and waxing certificate, massage and facial certificates from Alston, tanning oils, and more.
  • Fitness Basket with $100 gift card to Thomas Kelly Activewear, free month at CorePower Yoga, Santa Barbara bars, Juice Ranch certificate, and more!
  • Grand Prize will be a 4 day/3 night stay for 2 at the 5-star Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort in Mexico (includes breakfast daily and golfing with the General Manager. Expires Nov. 10, 2015).

Hair & Fashion Show Fundraiser by Paul Mitchell the School Santa Barbara

pmtssb hairshow graphicPaul Mitchell the School Santa Barbara is hosting a fabulous Hair & Fashion Show on Friday, April 24th at Blind Tiger in downtown Santa Barbara as part of their annual FUNraising campaign to support local nonprofits, including Dream Foundation. This is a fantastic opportunity for young adults to be inspired by all the latest hair trends as well as learn about great philanthropic causes and ways to give back. Tickets can be purchased at Paul Mitchell the School (525 Anacapa St.) for $20 pre-sale/ $35 at the door.

As part of their philanthropic mission to support community and volunteerism, Paul Mitchell Schools across the nation hold local FUNraising events, where Future Professionals and staff members donate their time, talent and energy to raise funding for local nonprofits. Dream Foundation is honored and grateful to be chosen as a beneficiary of this incredible effort, which will raise vital funding to grant dreams for adults facing terminal illness.

Get ready to be wowed by an array of innovative and fashionable hairstyles, all created by the dedicated and talented students of the hair design school. In addition, exclusive items will be available for bidding in a silent auction! An excellent embodiment of creativity, philanthropy and community, this is a great event for all ages. It will definitely be a unique night filled with great music, fashion and fun.
