Dianne Adopt a Dream

Dianne

“Thank you, thank you, thank you. I cannot thank you enough,” Dianne writes. Having lived several years “hot and cramped” in a mobile home without air conditioning, Dianne has finally found the opportunity to move into a more comfortable home. With an Arizona summer approaching, escaping to cool air and having room to breathe would make all the difference in her world. However, the confines of her illness are prohibitive; she desperately needs assistance with packing and moving, as well as the expense. For Dianne, relief is just out of reach. In the last months of her life, she is hopeful to receive the comfort she’s been longing for.

Michael Adopt a Dream

Michael

A dedicated fan since 1950, Michael lives and breathes the Chicago Cubs. From the team watch he has worn for 45 years, to his collection of everything from shirts, towels, car cushions and more, Michael is a truly passionate fan.  His wish to see a game and meet the players is not one sparked by the reality of his prognosis –he has dreamed of such an adventure for years. “I’m a humble man and I don’t ask for anything,” Michael writes. “This would be a great highlight of my life.” Having lost his “beautiful” wife a little over year ago, a chance to celebrate the other love of his life is one he would be incredibly grateful for.

Charles Adopt a Dream

Charles

Inspired by his idol, Frank Lloyd Wright, Charles applied and was accepted to the University of Texas in Austin, seeking to earn his degree in architectural engineering. However, due to his progressing and worsening illness, he was forced to withdraw from the program early in his studies. Though disappointed, Charles has remained mesmerized by Wright’s architectural creations, mainly the world-famous Fallingwater home. It is his dream to travel to the mountains of Pennsylvania with his mother and sister, and see the beautiful structure in person.
