Dream wedding couple receives dream honeymoon
FAIRPORT HARBOR, Ohio – Two Northeast Ohio representatives from the national organization, Dream Foundation, found themselves in Tracy Edinger’s upstairs duplex apartment on Valentine’s Day with a special gift. Tracy’s wish for a dream wedding following years of battling for cancer was about to happen Saturday, Feb.15, but she and her fiancé Andy Basinger didn’t have a honeymoon planned.
The Dream Foundation made that happen Friday as Tracy unwrapped a basket filled with travel plans to Las Vegas and a check for spending money while there.
Family and friends gathered in Willoughby Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. for Andy and Tracy’s wedding ceremony. Though visibly tiring easily throughout the afternoon, Tracy, dressed in a beautiful gown through donations, was not about to show any concern for her health, at times verbally encouraging the sometimes tearful crowd with her smile to join the couple on the dance floor as a DJ played music perfect for the occasion. It quickly turned into a true celebration of life.
