New Yorkers Support the Final Dreams of Terminally-Ill Adults at Exquisite Event

New York, N.Y. – On Tuesday, October 15, generous New Yorkers will come together to fulfill the Dreams of terminally-ill adults across the country. Your attendance may enable Cesar, an Army veteran from San Diego reunite with his daughter and grandchildren or Cynthia, a mother of three from New Orleans take a final vacation with her children, one that will last forever in their minds. Over the last twenty-five years, Dream Foundation has served more than 32,000 Dreams, providing comfort and closure at the end of life.

This evening of dream making will be held at the Greek-island inspired Flatiron hotspot, Kyma. Foundation friends will be treated to fine wines, crisp cocktails and Chef Chris Chrisou’s heavenly Greek delights. Christou worked under Chef Gordon Ramsay for three years at London’s Savoy Grill, before becoming his Sous Chef at The London in New York. Christou then worked under Thomas Keller, John Frasier and Michael White before taking up the position of Executive Chef at Kyma.

Immediately following the reception, sponsors at the Dream Patron level will be escorted to the Chef’s Table, where Chef Christou will present expertly crafted courses, paired with beautiful wines, along with a Calvisius Caviar tasting. Your palate will thank you for this culinary experience! All proceeds will benefit Dream Foundation.

A silent auction will entice guests with items from Tesla, the American Ballet Theater, Milk Bar, Scribner’s Catskill Lodge, Farm to People, Tod’s, Salon Benjamin, Sky Ting Yoga, a sail-boat cruise for two from Classic Harbor Line, artwork from Fede Saenz and a stunning Tag Heuer watch courtesy of Hamilton Jewelers among countless other decadent treasures.

To enjoy this heartwarming gathering of giving and Dreams, individual tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available.

Event participants will include Dream Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Kisa Heyer, the Foundation’s national board of directors, and members of the organization’s New York Advisory Council, Christine Coyne, Jacqueline Indelicato, Jason Kra, Daryl Nanes, Lindsay Ornstein, Len Paolillo, Jennifer Razor, Kari Siegel, Peter Siegel, Lindy Snider, Blair Stearns and Mario Muredda who serves on the council and board.

The event would not be possible without the support of its generous event sponsors including Calvisius Caviar, Deutsch Family Wines, Drink Originals, Kyma and PlantShed.
