Dream Foundation’s Flower Empower program is a S
anta Barbara-based\, volunteer-driven program that delivers floral bouquet
s\, fresh-baked cookies\, fine chocolates and cards that are hand made by
volunteers to people in hospices\, cancer centers and their homes. Volunte
ers prepare dozens of arrangements using donated flowers. Flower delivery
referrals come from cancer centers\, nurses\, social workers\, hospices\,
elder support organizations and the community at large.
\n
Since its inception in 1994\, the program has served th
ousands of community members by providing more than 125\,000 bouquets\, co
okies (homemade by longtime Flower Empower Supporter\, Robin Himovitz)\, a
rtisanal chocolates (provided by Chocolats du CaliBressan) and cards.

to share the exciting news that The No Gala Gala has so far raised $100\,000 – enough to make 47 Dreams come true
