Thanks to Dreams for Veterans, a program of the Dream Foundation and one of its donors, one Greg Kushner, and Emily Myrick Dream Coordinator in cooperation with Shutters On The Beach Resort Hotel in Santa Monica, and their Hotel Manager Laura McIver CA,  this terminally ill Writer and Vietnam Era Veteran was provided with 4-days and 3-nights superior room accommodations at no cost to him at Shutters On The Beach in Santa Monica, CA. I would also like to thank Yesenia Parra, my Social Worker at  Roze RoomHospice  my Caregivers for making the application to theDream Foundation for me.

Diagnosed with Stage 3B Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer in July of 2016 with a Prognosis of less than 12-months to live, this vacation gave this Writer a chance to “chill-out” and reflect on his life in both a tranquil and luxurious setting.
