A Night When Tastemakers Become Dream-makers

NEW YORK – Jan. 22, 2018 – PRLog — On Thursday, February 8 Urbani Truffles, the leading family-owned global purveyor of fresh truffles and truffle products, will host the Santa Barbara, Calif. based Dream Foundation’s premiere NYC event. The launch name says it all, A Night when Tastemakers Become Dream-makers as NYC influencers, supporters and friends gather to raise awareness of Dream Foundation’s mission; the only national dream-granting organization for terminally-ill adults. Fortunate guests will have front-row access to a curated culinary experience, brought to life by the generous support of Urbani Truffles, Calvisius Caviar, Ca’ del Bosco, and Elizabeth Hodes Custom Cakes and Sugar Art. All proceedswill directly benefit Dream Foundation and the Dream recipients it serves. The evening will feature the culinary magic of celebrity Chef John DeLucie, one of New York City’s most acclaimed chefs (yes, that John DeLucie) – former chef and partner of famed The Waverly Inn, and most recently delighting food-enthusiasts at both Bedford & Co. and Empire Diner. Special musical entertainment will also be captured by the creative eye of Jill Lotenberg, JillPhotography.

Dream Foundation fulfills Dreams of terminally-ill adults that provide inspiration, and much needed comfort and closure at the end of life. Over the last two decades, Dream Foundation has given life to more than 27,000 Dreams nationwide, having never turned down a qualified applicant. Built by a nationwide community of hundreds of volunteers, hospices, health care organizations, committed individuals and corporate donors that support compassionate care for terminally-ill adults. Next month, with the help and heart of its New York-based community members, Dream Foundation hopes to raise awareness about its mission to fulfill the final Dreams of terminally-ill adults and raise the funds needed to continue to fulfill those Dreams.

Event attendees will include Dream Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Kisa Heyer, Dream Foundation’s Director of Corporate Partnerships and Marketing, Tristan Layton, as well as the organization’s first New York Advisory Council, Adeo Alday, Christine Coyne, Mark Friedman, Jacqueline Indelicato, Jason Kra, Mario Muredda, Daryl Nanes, Lindsay Ornstein, Len Paolillo, Kari Siegel, Peter Siegel, Lindy Snider, and Cyndy Villano. Additional special guests and VIP’s will be announced as the date draws near.
