Making dreams come true for adults facing life-threatening illness.

Lesley’s life came to a halt at 48 when she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. She had been a kindergarten teacher, enjoyed clogging and participated in her children’s activities. “My world fell apart,” she writes. “I felt like I was in a nightmare.” The last three years have been wrought with treatments, surgeries and setbacks… and she now has a prognosis of 12 months or less. Lesley says her goal is to make it to May so she can see her son graduate high school. In the meantime, she’s holding on to a dream she would love to see come true. “I would like to meet Tom Selleck. I have always watched him since Magnum P.I. and have been a huge fan ever since.” Lesley looks forward to traveling to New York and meeting her personal hero. “This would be such a positive and uplifting experience for me. My family would be so happy for me, as well.”
