Dream Foundation, Hospice help man fulfill wish
MARTINSBURG – Paul Stidham’s 4-year-old black dachshund, Lieben, quietly licks his master’s hand as Stidham talks excitedly about his upcoming adventure this weekend. Just in time to celebrate Stidham’s 59th birthday, tickets arrived Tuesday for Stidham, his sister and sister’s husband to see Fleetwood Mac at the Verizon Center on Friday.
The tickets came courtesy of the Dream Foundation, a nonprofit national adult wish-granting organization that operates out of Santa Barbara, California, and through the efforts of Stidham’s Hospice team, led by nursing assistant Tasha Prevette. (Read more)
